Misinformation
Has a word ever been used more, or misused more? Can we remove this from the dictionary? Please?
Misinformation. Every time I hear this word I think the person using it is a coward and in all likelihood a phony. It is used by the mass formation crowd to silence debate. Oftentimes you hear, “that is misinformation, it does not follow the science …”. Translated, that means, “Your opinion of the science does not matter”. If you remove debate you actually remove science.
Science is another word that has been totally discredited. I have spent 40 years learning the ins and outs of clinical research. I see almost all of the pundits, who are much smarter than me, obviously, become clinical research experts overnight. They will cite some study that they could not possibly understand, in all likelihood an observational study, with data bias that immediately discredits said study, as absolute proof that their opinion of the “science” is right and that is the end of the debate.
For example, they will site the CDC mask study. That study assembled a group of COVID positive people that totaled 652. They surveyed this group to find out what type of mask they wore, if any. You can see in the above graphic the conclusion arrived at by the CDC. Let me just say this, had they tried to submit data like this to the FDA, they would have been fined for wasting their time, that is how bad this “study” was conducted. What they don’t tell you is 4,400 people refused to take the survey. That means 87% of their “group” refused to participate. That left 652 biased, pro-mask participants. They also created a control group of negative COVID participants. In that group, 91% refused to participate. In a study, if 90% of the participants do not pass screening, the study is dead and no real company would continue with it. But not the CDC. They created the most misleading graphic in history. Why? Masks instill fear (for me they instill annoyance) in the general population. Fear means obedience, plain and simple. Read the fine print, “NOT STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT”.
Not so ironically, every news organization in the country cited this study like it was gospel because apparently they cannot read. It was a lie and a fraudulent study. If you pointed out the obvious you needed to be censored for spreading misinformation. We have once prestigious government agencies, serving bogus studies up on a platter for a very corrupt media so that they can silence any dissent. This is one example of hundreds.
As long as your opinion does not result in injuring others, then you have the right to express that opinion. That does not mean, hurt somebody’s feelings. That means, cause physical harm. That harm must be proven. So saying that vaccines do not work does not fall under the harm auspices of the first amendment of our constitution. That is your opinion, it hurts nobody and they are allowed their own opinion. The pundits will argue that saying vaccines don’t work, hurts people because they don’t take the vaccine. Guess what? Saying vaccines work does the same damn thing, look no further than the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) for proof. But, if people cannot believe their lying eyes and want to believe that vaccines work, then they are certainly entitled to that opinion. But remember, that goes both ways. So misinformation is an oxymoron. Information is information. It can be subjective and up for debate, but it is still information. Misinformation does not exist.
So rather than saying, “that is misinformation”, say, “that is your opinion, you are entitled to it and I disagree with it … let the debate begin, hopefully by the end we will both be wiser”.
Enter California bill AB 2098. This bill, which Governor Newsome signed into law, punishes doctors for spreading “misinformation”. Remember, the science is settled. Vaccines, masks, lockdowns and social distancing all work! Anybody who says anything to the contrary needs to be punished. Does that sound like a free society to you? Of course it’s not. How about politicians telling doctors what they can or cannot say about medical issues? That has to be a first. Remember when Newsome was recalled? Then he won his recall election in a landslide? Hard to believe the people of California are this stupid. I guess I should say the great majority of Californians are this stupid.
Now we have many polls suggesting that a majority of people believe that misinformation has led to this epidemic of right wing terrorism. Huh? How out of it are these people? Right wing terrorism? Like the attempted kidnapping of Gretchen Whitmer? Oh, January 6th where the capital police lifted the ropes and invited the terrorists in. Of course all those terrorists went on a killing spree, right? Only a single protester was killed, a US Military Veteran and of course a Trump voter. No investigation, they just shot her in the throat, she deserved it, end of story. Are we really so naive that we should believe anything the Associated Press or NY Times says? How about their biased polls? You may think 1/6 was a terrorist event. I don’t, my opinion against yours. No misinformation, just information ripe for debate.
I could go on forever about the cowards that cannot stop using the word misinformation. Its sole purpose is to silence debate, to silence another opinion. The word should be abolished. It is a propaganda term of the totalitarian regime currently running our country and most of the world. Wait, was that misinformation? Now you know, when you hear the word, it says a lot about the person using it.
I notice that as truth arrives we get no apologies. The worst is few are ever held to account. Makes for interesting history. Perhaps the end to our grand experiment is nearing but my hope is that free people do arrive to save self-rule.
