The Religion of Vaccines
Faith, not common sense based on data, is how our so called leaders rule
I could post dozens of natural immunity studies that all say the exact same thing; natural immunity is much better than a vaccine. Our leaders originally discounted this by saying, “We don’t want people to get infected on purpose”. Which means at some point in time our leaders were looking at data and understood that natural immunity was unquestionably better than a vaccine.
I myself did get COVID on purpose. I am 61, never took a single medication, was never hospitalized, put in an ICU or required a ventilator. Rather than focusing on a mask and social distancing I focused on cardiovascular exercise and diet.
However, you should understand that our leaders have now fallen into a new religion and any common sense or evaluation of data/science has been supplanted with faith for their god, undying faith!
My 19 year old daughter, who is in near perfect physical condition, and was infected with COVID the same time I was, is being mandated to take a vaccine to attend her Nevada State University (Thanks Californians who moved here and voted for Nevada democrats because they are somehow different than California democrats and turned Nevada blue). Because of my position in clinical research, I contacted the state’s CMO and we had a very long conversation. The gist of that conversation was that vaccines are the be all end all and that is that! Here is what I brought up and continue to bring up:
Vaccines are failing and cases are spiking in as little as 2 months
We don’t have enough data to determine if after 6 months, a breakthrough infection is worse than an infection for somebody never vaccinated, but it seems that at bare minimum that could be the case.
19 years old and in perfect health, with a previous infection, poses a statistical zero risk, all the study data says that.
Studies out of non-politicized countries have shown that natural immunity is much stronger than vaccinated immunity. Therefore many of the countries have dropped all mandates as the vaccines continue to fail.
Europe’s travel pass includes an automatic exemption for the naturally immune.
Real clinical trials in this country say the same thing about natural immunity.
The VAERS is blowing up with cases and conventional wisdom says that very few actual adverse events are being reported (See Project Veritas).
We don’t know if/when the vaccines fail and bring immunity down to zero if that is also the case for naturally immune vaccinated people, so mandating this could be completely counter productive.
The vaccines are causing mutations and new variants to spring up.
If the vaccines are so effective, what possible risk do the unvaccinated pose to the vaccinated?
All of this fell on deaf ears. This was a PhD/MD and he has seen the light and will not even remotely consider the mountains of evidence all saying the same thing: Stop these mandates especially for people < 50 years of age! In fact he said to me, “This is helping the overwhelming majority of the population.” Of course he has not had to face the people that have had their lives ruined by the vaccines. Those people number in the millions.
Therefore this is a religion. Like all other religions it is based on blind faith. In this particular case, the god, which is the vaccine, is to be worshipped as a true healer and those who do not fall in line are sacrilegious, the devil himself. They must be crushed!
You think this is a democrat religion? Think again. The president of this university was a 2-term republican governor. He has not said a word, proving he too is part of the faith. If you really think there is a difference between establishment democrats and establishment republicans, you need to wake up.
So my daughter, who is currently a participant in two clinical research studies, has a decision to make. I have advised her to take off the winter semester or look for all online classes, but avoid getting a vaccine with no upside and potentially huge downside. By next fall, we will have much more data. Although the high priests will probably never change their stance, we can at least make a more informed decision.

If that does not creep you out then you have much bigger problems than a disease that is 99.9% survivable.
There's the error: in your title: 'how our so called leaders rule'. Are they leading or ruling? Should be neither, shouldn't it? We are democracies. WE rule. WE lead. That's the theory.
But you're right. In fact we don't. We abdicate our democracies and supinely accept the role of powerless peasants with no alternative when push comes to shove but to take to the streets.
And we call - you yourself call - the people we put there to lead us in the direction we told them we want to go 'rulers' and we accept their 'rule'.
So when they say we must go some other direction we meekly accept it.
WE, the people, en masse.
For we the people, en masse, are by nature and instinct and desire, it would appear, mindless docile peasants.
And those of us who fancy we are not like that are just going to have to get used to the idea that's who we are part of, implanted within, surrounded by.
Got to come to terms with the fact that we're just lemmings implanted within the horde and the horde is headed over a cliff and going to take us with it.
Right?
And all the time the control machinery of democracy lies unused.
It is not a new religion, although we are witnessing its triumphal procession into the Cathedral of the Medical Monopoly.
