Why Nuclear Weapons Are So Much More Destructive Than You Think
Iran is on the eve of becoming a nuclear power. Look at what Russia is doing with just the threat of nuclear weapons.
We have enough nuclear bombs to blow up the world several times over. That is a very scary scenario. Ironically for decades the nuclear threat has taken a back seat to many other issues, despite the civilization ending capability. However, with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we are seeing that nuclear weapons can render the worlds Super Power, helpless.
Consider this, the US economy is 15 times the size of the Russian economy. In short, a military conflict would not last long between the two nations. So why do we stand idly by while Putin’s forces invade a sovereign nation with impunity? In addition, Putin has been labeled “sick”, “mad”, “hell bent on creating the old Soviet Union”. No matter what you feel for the nation of Ukraine, Putin’s true motivations should scare the hell out of everyone. Yet we stand on the sideline, helpless.
That is because Russia has an enormous nuclear arsenal. Despite the huge disparity in military capabilities between Nato and Russia, we have allowed Putin to viciously attack a country whose security was guaranteed by the US . So without launching a single missile, Russia has handcuffed all of NATO.
NATO is handcuffed for a very good reason. We cannot afford to allow the current conflict to escalate and spiral out of control. That could mean nuclear destruction. We simply cannot take that chance. The threat of nuclear weapons, allows smaller countries to become super powers. Oftentimes these smaller countries have leaders that cannot be trusted with this type power. If/When Russia conquers Ukraine, do they then decide to head into the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania)? Then what? Are these nations not a part of the old Soviet Union?
Are we destined to sit by and watch a country run roughshod over Eastern Europe? Again, what is worse, the old Soviet Union or nuclear annihilation?
That is why what the Biden administration is doing with Iran is so dangerous. Iran is the worlds top sponsor of terror. Moderate Arab nations are petrified by the idea that Iran is about to become a nuclear power. If any nation would be willing to show their willingness to use nuclear weapons, you can bet it would be Iran.
Currently, in Vienna, Austria, the US, Russia and Iran are ironing out the final provisions in a new deal. Here is an excerpt written by Gabriel Noronha for the Tablet Publication The full article can be found here.
With Robert Malley in the lead, the United States has promised to lift sanctions on some of the regime’s worst terrorists and torturers, on leading officials who have developed Iran’s WMD infrastructure, and has agreed to lift sanctions on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) itself. In exchange, Iran will receive fewer limitations than those imposed under the JCPOA, and the restrictions on its nuclear program will expire six years sooner than under the terms of the old deal. And that’s just the beginning.
I advise you to read this article, it is chilling to say the very least.
Here is what we can assume; nobody wants to be the first to fire off a nuke. Regardless of who that is, retaliation and escalation is sure to follow. Destruction on a global scale is almost guaranteed as the nuclear powers and their willingness to retaliate will domino.
So, can we expect that when Iran becomes a nuclear power that they will not use these weapons? Russia has shown that you don’t have to use these weapons to render the West and NATO impudent. However, Iran’s goal is the destruction of Israel. Israel is another nuclear power. It does not take a genius to see how this spirals out of control.
Amazingly, as helpless as we are with Russia, we have no such nuclear restrictions with Iran. However, it seems the Biden administration is hell bent on getting a deal, regardless of the consequences. As the deal was being negotiated, 3 high ranking members of the US team quit. Why do you suppose that happened?
I am not sure writing your congressmen and warning him/her about the consequences of a nuclear armed Iran will do much good. Look at the last year. Biden has become a dictator while congress has done literally nothing to reign him in.
However there is a silver lining in what has become the closest we have moved to nuclear annihilation since the Cuban Missile Crisis: No More Mean Tweets. There are consequences for allowing elections to be stolen. The only question, will we pay the ultimate price?
Why Nuclear Weapons Are So Much More Destructive Than You Think
I'm sorry, I couldn't make it through the whole article. You may be new to geopolitics, but after everything you've witnessed over the last two years just with regard to "COVID" and the drug companies and mandates, how on earth can you continue to believe what the government and the media tell you, or how they characterize it? How can listen to them tell you that it's a very clear cut case of good versus evil, and that the Western establishment are the good guys? How can you go on to repeat this narrative in good conscience when you have obviously never once looked outside of the MSM for information?
I was following Ukraine 8 years ago when the US funded and trained *literal* neo Nazi's to stage a coup and overthrow the elected leader. I was following it because they had just done the very same thing, using the very same strategy in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria, and the pattern was very clearly established.
You should really look into the condition of Libya before its ostensible "dictator" was overthrown and murdered, as Hillary took so much delight in pointing out. If there ever was a more advanced example of representative, participatory democracy in existence on this planet, or a people who were lifted so high, from so low, by the benefit of the nation's resources, I have not seen it.
These are the "good" guys- https://www.sydneycriminallawyers.com.au/blog/us-votes-against-un-adopted-anti-nazi-resolution-while-australia-abstains/
As for Iran, the only reason the West hates them is because Israel hates them. If you'd like to show us a drawing of an old-timey cannonball-shaped bomb to warn us of how Iran is just minutes away from possessing a nuclear bomb, you should know that nonsense has been more thoroughly discredited than the face diapers have. I'm not even going to bother telling you how they've striven for international compliance only to be rebuffed by our fifth-column controlled congress, because you should have the integrity to find that out for yourself before writing about what a threat they pose.
I'm sorry, your other writings are good, but you're out of your depth here. It always astonishes me how people can go from denouncing the duplicitous cesspit of MSM on one subject to repeating their claims verbatim on another in the same breath. How do you decide which one they're lying through their vile, foul mouths about, and which one they represent with unassailable truthfulness?
(FYI, Mathew Crawford wrote an excellent article on the subject, which is called "Gell-Mann Amnesia") https://roundingtheearth.substack.com/p/gell-mann-amnesia-dissonance-and?s=r

This is not meant to be an insult or attack, but to your point, some things can be more dangerous than weapons. From my point of view, the biggest danger is ignorance. We've all been guilty of holding and sharing opinions we weren't really qualified to have in the first place, but when you find yourself speaking in unison with people who have revealed themselves to be the most corrupt evildoers on the planet, it's probably time to do some self-reflection. "Mee too-ing" on this subject amounts to support for war, and runs counter to your true intentions.
In a way, Russia knows it can bully the EU via those awful weapons and we ought to remind them that we have them as well. No sane person can wish a nuclear conflict given the messy aftermath of those remained waiting to die. I'm not sure that the Southern hemisphere can evade the mess from the fallout. But Russia threatens nuclear use which has been a no-no for a very long time.
Should this Ukraine issue drag on for too long, I can't see the world allowing it. Biden & company had better be prepared to become much more vocal about our tolerance. With the Russian economy collapsing rapidly, I fear them becoming irrational. There really needs to be a summit to resolve the issue. While China may have wanted a bit of trouble, I suspect they are getting quite worried about their good friend. China has an awful lot to lose with the collapse of the world economy.
